Allpura safeguards and promotes the ideological and economic interests of the Swiss cleaning industry. Its main tasks include providing services related to the industry, such as consulting on technical, business and legal issues, training and further education, cooperation with industry and service partners, and the development of the collective labour agreement.

As an association, we perform various important tasks that benefit the industry as a whole. An industry that employs over 65,000 people in around 2,500 companies in German-speaking Switzerland and generates an estimated turnover of CHF 2 billion.

As an employers’ association, Allpura aims to continuously develop fair and appropriate wages and working hours, modern social security benefits, and the promotion of training and further education for employees, while ensuring high standards of occupational safety. Attractive working conditions are essential for the industry to attract and retain good employees.
With its collective labour agreement (CLA), Allpura guarantees appropriate employment and working conditions for the cleaning industry in German-speaking Switzerland while maintaining corporate competitiveness – to the benefit of both employees and companies.
The agreements are the result of many years of close and constructive cooperation between the social partners.
Allpura, together with the trade unions, is part of the Central Joint Commission. Its task is to monitor compliance with the collective labour agreement, provide advice on legal and wage issues, and provide training and further education for cleaning staff.
Organisation
Through its active members, Allpura represents around 70 per cent of all employees in the cleaning industry in German-speaking Switzerland. The cleaning companies are members of one of five sections: Bern, Basel/surrounding area, Mittelland, Eastern Switzerland/FL and Zurich. Through their representative in the central association, these five sections represent the interests of their members in the overall association and, through their delegates, have a say in the association’s decisions.
