25 years of ProMop – a system that has been tried and tested for decades continues to evolve

The Kiehl-ProMop system has become synonymous with the automatic soaking/preparation of cleaning textiles. The idea of soaking disinfectant-washed cleaning textiles in the washing machine fully automatically and evenly with detergents or disinfectant cleaners still has many advantages today. The ProMop system will always be important in the future, whether for surfaces or floors.

The advantages of the ProMop system:

• The spread of germs via the cleaning or disinfectant solution through re-immersion of cloths or wipe covers is excluded.

• Over- or underdosing of washing chemicals and surface disinfectant cleaners is reliably avoided.
• The dosing of disinfectant solutions is precisely controlled and therefore always correct.
• Handling hazardous substances when using the soaked textiles is avoided thanks to the automatic dosing of the solution.
• Energy-intensive drying is completely eliminated.
• No cleaning fluid in buckets on the cleaning trolley. This means no more spillage of liquor.
• The textiles are optimally adjusted to the working conditions. This means that the humidity of the textiles is always right.

Effectiveness

The ARENAS washing components used in the ProMop system have a disinfecting effect even at the lowest dosages – naturally with high washing performance at the same time. These low dosages have been tested in accordance with the latest EN standards and are RKI-listed. This ensures that the washing process reliably inactivates bacteria, yeasts, mycobacteria, fungi and viruses. The washing and preparation programs are individually tailored to the requirements of the properties. The textiles have a service life of up to 72 hours. Even after that, they continue to develop their full disinfection performance, which is confirmed in external and internal laboratory tests under practical conditions in accordance with DIN 13063.

Dynamic dosing

The use of modern Kiehl LiCoDos dosing technology ensures reliable dosing at all times. The technology is not static and is constantly adapted to the state of the art. With LiCoDos, complete real-time documentation of hygiene-relevant parameters is possible. Validation of washing and cleaning processes, as required by DIN 13067, is therefore child’s play.

Digital helpers

The LicoDos online dashboard displays this and other important data, such as product consumption, clearly and in detail and can be customized to the customer’s needs. Kiehl-LiCoDos uses the notification tool to provide information on e.g. empty status, error messages and much more. Our service technicians can access the LiCoDos from anywhere via remote maintenance. This reduces the need for service technicians on site and makes an active contribution to climate protection, as journeys are avoided.

Alternatives

Modern, highly effective disinfectant cleaners are available for preparation. If surfaces do not need to be disinfected, the cleaning textiles can also be soaked with products that have been awarded the EU Ecolabel, for example.
