BERA-PS 26 - Cleaning and passivation

BERA-PS 26 can already be used at room temperature; use at higher temperatures improves the cleaning effect.

The BERA-PS 26 solution is ideal for the initial passivation of e-polished austenitic CrNi(Mo) steels after the pre-treatment of new installations. The acidic passivating agent is easy to use and does not attack the corresponding surfaces in any way. It guarantees rapid production of the passive film with simultaneous cleaning.

Application
BERA-PS 26 can be used in immersion, spray or circulation processes for austenitic stainless steels and all common sealing materials. It can be selected in different concentrations, the choice of concentration depends on the respective application temperature and the degree of contamination. Contact times of 60 minutes at room temperature and 30 minutes at 60°C have proven effective.

Material compatibility
BERA-PS 26 is compatible with all austenitic stainless steels (type CrNiMo), also in e-polished versions, as well as common plastics (e.g. PP, PE, PT).

Storage
The product should be stored in dry, well-ventilated rooms, out of direct sunlight, at temperatures between
