BERA SN RD - Sanitizer / disinfectant

BERA-SN RD can be applied to almost all surfaces by immersion, filling or spraying/wiping and circulation. Heavy soiling should preferably be removed from the surface. Use at room temperature. The contact time depends on the microorganisms or viruses to be cleaned and the infestation (see brochure). Depending on the application, contact times of 5 to 60 minutes have proven effective. Then rinse with deionized water.

BERA-SN RD is a broad-spectrum disinfectant (approval number CHZNZN5921). It is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, fungi, yeasts, algae and enveloped/unenveloped viruses. It is also useful against various types of biofilms in water systems. Especially extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) excreted by microorganisms. It forms hydrogels in combination with water, creating a slimy matrix in which nutrients and other substances are dissolved.

Safety instructions
Handling the ready-to-use solution BERA-SN RD is unproblematic, but eye contact must be avoided. Further information can be found in the safety data sheet.

Material compatibility
BERA-SN RD can be used without hesitation on almost all metallic surfaces and in particular all austenitic stainless steels, as well as common plastics (e.g. PP, PE, PTFE, rigid PVC and PVDF) and sealing materials (e.g. EPDM). Depending on the concentration used, aluminum or acrylic glass can be affected. Use on linoleum, flexible PVC hoses, soft PVC, polymer-coated surfaces and high-quality butyl rubber is not recommended. As surfaces are of varying quality, the suitability of the product should first be tested on a small, inconspicuous area.

Storage
The product should be stored in dry, well-ventilated rooms, out of direct sunlight, at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C. The expiry date can be found on the certificate of analysis or the container labeling. Attention: Ensure that the product is frost-free, it loses its effect if it freezes!
